USES FOR CREPE PAPER

What can you use crepe paper for? Paper flowers, costumes, dolls, and pinatas are only some of tje things you might make using crepe paper to decorate with.

You can find all types of books, e-books, articles, and instructions for many of these things on the Internet or some of them even in bookstores.

When you want to form projects into different shapes the crepe paper is the easiest type of paper to work with since it is stretchable.

You can find crepe paper that is bleed resistant, which means that your colored crepe paper will not run if it gets wet, and when you are using markers or other coloring materials they will not run into the other parts of your paper.

Some crepe paper is fade resistant that usually means that over a time period that the colors will stay as bright colored as when they were made and will not fade as easy as the other type of crepe paper. The sun also will not fade them as easily.

A lot of the crepe paper today are flame resistant that means if they are too close to a flame they will not catch on fire as quick as if they were not flame resistant and if they do come in contact with a fire it may even go out on its own. Flame resistant may be a little safer but if put to the test do not take it for granted that it won't.

The crepe papers we like the best are the ones that are bleed, fade, and flame resistant. We like the bleed, fade, and flame the best, but don't get me wrong we use the other types too.

When we make some of our paper flowers we sometimes need the paper that does bleed for some of the flower designs to look like the real thing. You may need for some of your decorations that you make to bleed so you will find out the same thing.

Remember crepe paper makes beautiful paper flowers , but have fun using crepe paper for whatever project you want.
